Deven Bhatt, Airline Reporting Corporation (Chairman) As the Director of Corporate Security at ARC (Airline Reporting Corporation), Deven is responsible for physical as well as information security. He specializes in compliance, specifically PCI (Payment Card Industry), security architecture/management, audit and privacy. Bhatt has presented on PCI at the CISO forum and has helped many organizations with their compliance efforts by providing guidance. He has been instrumental in developing an internal security standard which harmonizes PCI, and other standards like ISO 27001, BITS. ARC became the first company in the airline industry to achieve PCI compliance in 2005. Bhatt built an excellent security department from the ground up at ARC and has promoted developing a "culture of security” in the company. He has won praise for his forward thinking and the art of balancing security to provide competitive edge” to the business lines. Bhatt has 18 years of security experience. He started his career in security at Rochester Tel. Bhatt established a brand new security department for the Frontier Telephone (ILEC) as part of the Citizens Communications merger/acquisition. He completed a huge data center consolidation project despite severe impact due to 9/11. He has also worked at Newell Rubbermaid where he completed an internally developed, web based "identity management” solution for user provisioning. He has a bachelor's degree in physics and holds CISA Certified Information Systems Auditor, CISM - Certified Information Security Manager, and CISSP - Certified Information System Security Professional with concentration in Management (ISSMP) and Architecture (ISSAP) certifications.Ansh Patnaik, ArcSight (Secretary | Treasurer)
As the Director of Industry Solutions at ArcSight, Ansh is responsible for industry and compliance solutions. He has been in the security and compliance industry for over 12 years with companies like BindView/Symantec and Omniva Policy Systems. Prior to ArcSight, Ansh was a Systems Engineer at BindView and was focused on its compliance and vulnerability management suite. Ansh has written and spoken about cyber-security and regulatory compliance challenges at numerous venues including ISSA, ISACA, CSO & CIO Magazines and more. He holds an MS in Operations Research from Columbia University and an MBA from the University of California at Berkeley.
Trisha Paine, SafeNet (VP Marketing)
Trisha Paine is the Industry Marketing Manager for Financial Services at SafeNet, Inc., one of the founding members of the PCI SVA. She joined SafeNet in 2006 as a Product Marketing Manager for the hardware security module line before being promoted in 2007. She is also the Marketing Chairperson for the PCI Security Alliance.
She has been working in the area of marketing for over eight years starting off her career with Black & Decker in Field Marketing and Territory Management. She then worked as a Marketing Coordinator for AK Tube, before joining SafeNet in 2006 as their Product Marketing Manager. Trisha earned her B.S. degree in Marketing Management from Salisbury University. She also holds an M.B.A. and J.D. degree focusing on Business and Intellectual Property Law from the University of Toledo.
