The Validation Committee will focuses on the creation and endorsement of a standard for PCI DSS validated solutions.

There are three main objectives for the validation initiatives: 

• Creating and developing an objective Product Validation Program to ensure that a  solution does what the vendor claims it does with regards to PCI DSS.
• Working with the PCI SSC and QSAs to gain acceptance and endorsement of such a program. 
• Working with a neutral 3rd party testing lab to ensure a fair, un-biased and efficient validation process.
